My name is Arin, I'm a 3D artist for a game studio. I have a great life, go to lots of events, have amazing friends, and Twitch is a side project of mine since I've always enjoyed helping people.
I like to give advice and let me first start by saying I am not a licensed therapist. I'm a guy that people like to ask for advice from. If you're suffering from depression, crippling anxiety, or PTSD the first thing I'll ask is if you are in therapy because that is what you should be doing. There is no shame in therapy just as there is no shame in going to a doctor when you break a bone. Therapy is the cure to those conditions and I'm a big advocate for it on this channel. If you need advice on life and don't have many people to turn to, don't feel comfortable talking about it with friends or family, then I believe this is a good place to do that. I love helping with advice on how to build confidence, health, face their fears, and relationships. Many in my community have grown and improved and I love to hear their updates and their testimonials are the only thing I can provide you with when it comes to credentials.
So is this like therapy?
This is not therapy or a replacement for it. If you are dealing with severe depression and anxiety I highly recommend finding yourself a therapist. If you feel a therapist is too expensive check and see if you're insurance covers it. If you do not have insurance check for "sliding scale therapy" in your area. They will adjust their prices based on your income.
Why do you feel qualified to do this?
People in my life have frequently come to me for help and advice and have told me how much what I said has helped them. Seeing the improvements they had motivated me to try reaching out to people on twitch and help here. Now I have many testimonials from my own viewers to help motivate me to keep doing this. I've also gone through my own issues with depression, suicidal moments, anxiety, panic attacks, and now I can confidently say those are things I don't even worry about anymore. I want to be able to help people fast track their way out of those things instead of having to struggle through it on their own like I did. Sometimes people just need a little direction in life and I hope to provide that. I don't charge any money and would never want to charge for the help that I give so I never want it to feel like there's hidden motives here.
What do you do for a living?
During the day I am a 3D artist for an indie game studio. I worked on two games in the past, Wildstar and The Order 1886.
Are there any topics you don't talk about?
Nope! You're not going to find any judgments from me. If you have a serious topic that you need help on I'm perfectly happy to help you out with whatever you need.
When do you stream?
I've been streaming usually at 10pm - 2 am PST on weekdays give or take an hour. I also may not stream everyday. Streaming isn't my job so I only do it when I actually have time to. I'm still new to this so i'm just streaming whenever I can so I may stream on weekends occasionally as well.
Do you do voice calls or direct messages?
No, due to the amount of trolls on the internet I will never do voice calls or direct messages.
Whats with the rope stuff on stream?
I practice shibari. Sometimes people ask for me to do it for photoshoots or fun so I will practice coming up with designs on stream.
Why are you dressed as a woman?
I'm very open about myself and I sometimes dress trans feminine on stream. You will sometimes see me dressed as a woman. I think it's fun to do and will continue to do it. It doesn't happen it often but when i do get the chance to do it I have a lot of fun with it and my streams are usually more fun because of it as well. If you have any questions about how it all works I'd be more than happy to tell you. There's nothing wrong with men dressing feminine or women dressing masculine. There is no rule book that says we have to look or dress a certain way so I really like to experiment with this and have fun.
