Eastshade Studios was founded in December 2013 when Danny Weinbaum quit his day job as a 3D environment artist in triple-A games to build a weird world (Eastshade). We are committed to making worlds that feel like true places, and exploring the ocean of game design outside of combat.
After Eastshade's successful release in 2019, we are now working on Songs of Glimmerwick, a story-driven witch academy RPG where magic is cast through music.

How big is your team? At the moment there are 3 of us full-time, as well as additional contractors for music, PR. porting, and localization.
Why stream? My goal with streaming is to share knowledge while keeping myself focused.
Can I ask questions? Of course! If I'm streaming, then I'm open to questions. I've been in the games industry for 12 years, and have been a full-time indie developer for 9, and have worn all the hats now. I don't know everything, but I'm happy to share what I do.
What kind of game is this? Songs of Glimmerwick is part adventure game, part RPG, part farming sim. There are a lot of stories and quests. The style is in many ways similar to our previous game Eastshade, even if the perspective and art style are different.
