I grew up on AC/DC, System of a Down, Rammstein, Simon and Garfunkel, Weird Al, Blues Traveler, Barenaked Ladies, My Chemical Romance, Maynard James Keenan, Portishead, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Linkin Park. I'm a 90s kid so you can probably fill in a lot of blanks with that.
I used to sing and still do, just primarily in the car or shower. I'd like to learn the Harmonica someday when I have time.
My favorite artist is Mike Patton. Artists I've found recently and am enjoying greatly are Eatliz and Lou Kelly.
I've started collecting jigsaw puzzles with the hope of decorating my home with them.
I have too many cats. Three indoor, and a neighborhood of strays. Hoping to build them a better shelter this year even though the one I have now did well this past winter.
Euchre is a card game I played a lot with family as a child and still love it. I believe this was a cornerstone for my love of card games in general.
Board games are neat. I'm always happy to try something new. Risk, Chess, Mysterium, Sagrada, and of course a lot of card games like Ascension CotG, Smash Up, Hanabi, and more.
I've played D&D for years. Started 3.5 and moved to 5E. I've played a lot of classes and believe I vibe most with bards.
I grew up on Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia. Other than that, I've run around the classics. Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse-Five" is a favorite. Charles Bukowski, Shel Silverstein, Jeff Lindsay, Brandon Sanderson, Lovecraft, Roald Dahl, Andrzej Sapkowski, H. G. Wells, George Orwell, Albert Camus, Pratchett, Gaiman, King, William Gibson, Rick Riordan, P. K. Dick, Poe, Hemingway, Darren Shan, H. S. Thompson, to name a few.
Hello! You can call me Cory. It's likely people will refer to me by other names here as I'm addicted to pen names. I write a lot of things, mainly dark urban fantasy. Most notable work is a novel published in 2013 about a serial killer who didn't kill. It's long since been scrubbed from the internet and I've written many things, none of which I've felt were good enough for publication. Hoping to change that soon!
